Stereogum rightly points out this might be a perfect record for anyone that has been missing the vibe of Radiohead’s early records while naming it their “Album of the Week”.
What we say: Laughing Matter takes some risks. It shakes-up and expands on the old Wand sound without losing that exhilaration of the group jamming at full force. (Witness where the guitars really come in on the above track ‘Thin Air’.)
