We’ve got our first FULL week of 2022 in the books and a new weekly top-ten best-sellers chart up to show for it! We’ve got an unlikely best-seller for the week as well. We ended up getting a surprise restock of the limited LOST IN TRANSLATION soundtrack. (All gone already!) The RSD reissue of the Kevin Shields featuring 2003 soundtrack has been highly in demand among collectors. Always stop by your local record store, never know what limited surprises the next shipments may hold!

Also, looks like the pre-hype is hitting for BEACH HOUSE! Their 2015 masterpiece Depression Cherry has managed to jump up all the way to number three in our latest charts. Perhaps the interest is on the heels of the news of the new and hotly anticipated Once Twice Melody album from the duo landing in February. We’ll surely have plenty when the time comes, and until then a section filled with all the great records from their catalog.

And our only new release to chart this week was the recently repressed Portrait Of A Legend anthology covering the life’s work of SAM COOKE. This is a great introduction to one of the all time greats in soul music featuring singles and classics from the singer’s all too short career. It may just become a regular sight in these charts.
