Charts Recap for may 31st - June 6th, 2021

We’ve got a new weekly top-ten chart posted! It was a relatively stable week in our charts by our standards, with TAYLOR SWIFT maintaining her iron grip on the number one spot thanks to ample stock of certified Taylor signed CDs. That’s right, we’ve still got plenty of the artist autographed CD copies of Evermore at the shop. It’s her indie folk record!

We’ve got a debut at number two! Super What by CZARFACE and MF DOOM might be the among the last sessions of the late great Doom, and is the first posthumous music released since his untimely passing last year. Though Super What is not a record for mourning, this duo has a history of making incredibly fun rap music and its great to hear the pair’s ridiculous rhyming again.

Our other new record popping up in this week’s top ten is the much anticipated Jubilee by JAPANESE BREAKFAST. This is Michelle Zauner’s third record as Japanese Breakfast and first in a while. She really sounds ready for a bigger audience on this one with plenty of different sounds across its runtime. It should make for a great summertime record too. Give a listen!
