Charts Recap: March 22nd - 28th, 2021

We’ve got a new set of weekly top-sellers posted! It’s a pretty stable list by our standards, including last week’s number-one record holding the top spot. Shore, the latest from the FLEET FOXES, spends its second week at number one! These guys have managed a truly Northwestern mood across their entire discography, with the latest being no exception. Also, potentially noteworthy curiosity, this has been our most popular album on the CD format since Taylor Swift signed all those copies.

Very strong showing this week from BLACK PUMAS too. Their self-titled record from 2019 has been a regular visitor to our charts since its release, showing some real staying power. That sort of word-of-mouth inspired longevity is a sure sign of quality! The groups’ rootsy essentialist soul has struck a chord and is absolutely worth a listen if you haven’t already.

Also we’re always super happy to see old an old favorite pop into the top-ten unexpectedly. This week we get such a treat with Hounds Of Love by KATE BUSH hitting number nine! The 1985 classic is one of those all-timers that both helps define an era, and is itself totally timeless. It goes in and out of print, but there are copies around for now! Belongs on every shelf.
