Charts Recap: March 15th - 21st, 2021

It’s Monday again, which means we’ve got last week’s best-selling records calculated. This week finds a familiar band at the top of our charts for the first time in a while. The FLEET FOXES are number one this week with their finally physically released new LP Shore. We’ve been seeing folks favorably compare the mood on this one to of the band’s breakout self-titled record. Give it a listen!

Our number two record this week is another new release from an artist that is no stranger to our charts. LANA DEL REY is back on Chemtrails Over The Country Club. Her latest finds the artist in a little more of a scaled back and introspective mode, and it suits her. This one’s been getting rave reviews all over the place too.

Also in the new and noteworthy category is the sophomore release from the Turkish/Dutch ALTIN GUN. Yol is making it’s second chart appearance this week at number nine. We were huge fans of 2019’s Gece, and the new breaks still fresher ground. The band is now mixing it’s vintage near-eastern psych vibes with slick futuristic grooves. Could be a break-out record!
