Charts Recap: January 25th - 31st, 2021

We’ve got the top-sellers of the final week of a wild January posted! And we’ve got our first locals to occupy the top spot of the young year. I Told You So by the DELVON LAMARR ORGAN TRIO has seized number one! This is the Seattle soul trio’s second offering of throw back organ driven grooves is as good as we could have hoped. If you love the old school grooves of the Meters or Booker T, you must here these guys right away.

Elsewhere in the charts there are plenty of new records as well. We’ve got another brand new LP in the number two spot, this one being Collapsed In Sunbeams from ARLO PARKS. This debut record has plenty of hype behind it, and deservedly so, as this is a confident and confessional record worth note. The young UK singer songwriter might just be the next really big deal.

We’ve also got store favorite FAYE WEBSTER back in the charts at number five with her self-titled 2017 record finally being issued on LP. If you’re a regular in our shop you’ve probably heard 2019’s Atlanta Millionaires Club on the speakers, as we played it to death. This one is great too, you can trace the evolution of her moody modern Americana.
