Charts Recap: February 24th - March 1st, 2020

This week in our charts we had our top two switch places along with a solid chunk of new releases hitting our top-ten. Tame Impala’s Slow Rush is once again our weekly top-seller after overtaking last weeks #1 Miss Anthropocene from Grimes. According to Billboard Magazine it is the biggest ‘rock’ record of the year so far! We don’t doubt it’ll stay strong in our charts for many weeks to come.

The strongest new appearance in our charts comes from Soccer Mommy with her second full-length Color Theory at number three. This one is a concept record of sorts with three color-themed sections corresponding with each color’s emotion. Blue, yellow, and gray never sounded so good. Synesthesia for all!

We also got a few reissues of the early records from 90s confusion-rockers Polvo this past week, and Today’s Active Lifestyles managed to score number six in our charts! Originally released in 1993, this reissue comes with freshly re-imagined cover art. This one is possibly the finest hour of one of the most creative guitar rock bands of their era.
