Charts Recap: November 22nd - 28th, 2020

After a busy week we’ve got a new best-seller chart up with plenty of new titles! However, even all the week’s activity, from the RSD Black Friday event through the first weekend of holiday shopping, could not dislodge our number one record from last week, MTV Unplugged by PEARL JAM! This record has been absolutely dominant in our weekly best-seller charts through the summer and fall this year. With good reason, its the first vinyl release of this live set of a legendary band in their young prime.

Plenty of the rest of the titles you see here are Record Store Day exclusives, so quantities are limited, with some already sold-out. (As always, call if you’re interested) We’ll highlight a couple titles with copies still on the shelves this Monday. Out number two record was the Sap EP by ALICE IN CHAINS, this RSD edition of the 1992 EP has long been out-of-print on wax forever and we don’t think this will be around long.

We’re also happy to see the sorely missed SHARON JONES drop back into our charts at six with Just Dropped in to See What Condition my Rendition Was In. This LP is a collection of Sharon and The Dap Kings various cover songs they’d recorded over their run. They’re doing incredible versions of songs by Prince, Shuggie Otis, Kenny Rogers, and more. Get it while you can!
