Charts Recap: October 25th - 31st, 2020

Our Halloween week best-sellers are up! Though this top-ten is decidedly un-spooky. Our incumbent number-one, MTV Unplugged by PEARL JAM, held on for another week at the top spot of our charts. The 1992 live performance has never been on vinyl until this latest edition. We stocked up on vinyl copies of this one, just in case global supplies start to dwindle. If you haven’t picked up a copy yet, we’ve got you, come by.

DEEP SEA DIVER is also once more ascendant, back into the second spot. Impossible Weight makes for a one-two punch of Seattle records ruling our charts this week. If you haven’t heard it yet, Impossible Weight is quite possibly the band’s best, and a must listen for all fans of contemporary indie. And in case you missed it, Jessica from DSD recently talked records on our blog!

There’s also a new record from ADRIANNE LENKER making some noise in our charts. Songs and Instrumentals finds the Big Thief singer-songwriter continuing her creative growth. It recently got the coveted Best New Music designation from Pitchfork, and has been widely critically hailed. We hope she keeps up this prolific creative hot streak.
