Charts Recap: October 18th - 24th, 2020

We have a new set of weekly best-sellers tabulated after our THIRD round of Record Store Day 2020. Plenty of RSD exclusives landed in our top-ten including records from Miles Davis and The Who. Quantities are limited on Record Store Day titles, call to check stock if interested. However no RSD title could surpass the mighty PEARL JAM, who are back at number one after we received a hefty restock of the MTV Unplugged reissue. This stripped down set hadn’t been available on vinyl for decades, that’s some pent up demand!

Also, the boss is back! BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN landed at number three with his newest offering Letter To You. The record finds Bruce in classic E-Street mode, even featuring a handful of tracks originally written in his 1970s youth. It was recorded mostly live and it suits the guy. It makes for a nostalgic listen even if the tracks are fresh.

Speaking on hotly anticipated returns, FUZZ have new music in our charts too! The Ty Segall led power-trio just released III. By Ty Segall standards its been a bit since we’ve heard new recordings. Nothing’s getting reinvented here though. It’s high-volume high-velocity rock n roll. Just what you’d want from this crew.
