Previously released as a CD only edition through the David Lynch website, the season two "music and more" collection finally arrives on LP for Record Store Day. Almost 30 years from the inception of the massively influential TV series, the show, the global phenomena of it's reception and the dreamily eerie score buy Badalamenti, Lynch and Julee Cruise, still seem like a daydream impossibility. Not expressly a collection of tracks from season two, there are many notable pieces featured from both the first season, and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me in this set. Standouts include the bluesy "Night Bells", "Blue Frank"'s doomful jazz, and the complete unedited "Dark Mood Woods / The Red Room" from season two's finale.
