Our charts are largely unchanged from last week as the holiday season remains in full-swing at the boom. One key difference is a new number one! We got Pearl Jam’s OFFICIAL MTV Unplugged LP back in stock and it shot straight to the top of the charts. One of those fine recordings that can make a song you’ve heard a thousand times song totally fresh. (such as number 8 in these same charts!) Get it while supplies last! The full performance video is now officially posted too.

With a slow trickle of new releases this time of year the charts remained mostly fairly stable. Angel Olsen’s All Mirrors jumped back up to number 4 after an absence. Again, its mostly ‘record of the year’ material dominating through this gift-giving season. And we have been keeping track of folk’s records-of-the-year over at our blog. Might just find yourself a perfect late gift tip in someone else’s year end list!
