Charts Recap: September 2nd - 8th, 2019

September is here and we’ve got a fresh week’s worth of numbers for our latest top-ten charts. The upper spots are mostly unchanged, with the addition of The Blue EP from Death Cab For Cutie in the number 2 spot. This brief 12” EP is a collection of loosies from the reformed DCFC v. 2.0 recorded around and since last year’s Thank You For Today. Give a listen!

Bat For Lashes also made a solid splash landing in the top 5 of both charts with Lost Girls, her first record in about three years. Her synth-pop-noir sound is intact. This record heavily references a certain similarly titled 80s vampire flick and certainly plays on that era’s sounds and filmic moods.

Elsewhere we’ve got The Black Tones still holding strong in the charts many weeks running, a new variation from Iggy Pop with Free, and our recent STAFF PICK from the B Boys selling on CD. See our full charts below:
